INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR BURMA NATIONAL

Statement
Date: October 10, 2011
We, the International Foundation of Burma National
Congress (IFBNC), held our first annual Conference (via Web Conference) on
September 11th, 2011. IFBNC has successfully adopted three Goals and four
Objectives at the conference and elected new Executive Body members as follows:A) Goals:
(1)To set up structures and processes that will analyze and determine the validity of any election and a regime therewith appointed to rule mandated by the 2008 Militarily founded Constitution;
(2)To determine, policies, strategies and multiple tactics that serve to uncover the policies and goals of the Military regime that are detrimental to the national and democratic interests of Burma;
(3)To work towards the establishment of genuine democracy and a federal union in Burma.
B) Objectives:
(1)To organize and conduct a Burma National Congress with participation of parties inside and outside Burma concerned with the national interest and the restoration of democracy to Burma;
(2)To establish the IFBNC that is structurally and organizationally sound, systematic, and consistent with the values under which it has been founded;
(3)To coordinate and implement a strategic plan for a Burma-wide National Liberty Movement;
(4)To develop sound objectives for the safeguard and protection of Burma’s national resources.
