INVITATION for
Demonstration of the Elimination of 2008 Sham Constitution in Burma

We, International Foundation for Burma National Congress (IFBNC), assume that the 2008 sham constitution is a barrier for our goal of genuine democracy, justice, and freedom in Burma. Thus we determine to eliminate 2008 sham election and USDA’s Kyat Pyay Assembly. For this reason, we will hold demonstration in Washington D.C. as following program. In addition, we call to eliminate 2008 sham Constitution and implement national collective action both inside Burma and outside Burma. You are cordially invited to participate in this demonstration. We need your participation in the spirit of democracy revolution process because everyone has a power to change your own country.
Time:               12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Date:               24 March 2012(Saturday)
Place (1):         Senate East Front, Grassy Area 9, US Capitol Building(bounded by the North Mezzanine sidewalk; First Street, NE; N.E. Drive and the East Front Plaza); Car direction point the corner of First Street NE and Constitution Avenue NE;  Metro: Union Station (Walk 10 to15 minutes)
Place (2):         In front of White House (Lafayette Park)
(at the corner of 16th Street, N.W. &  H Street, N.W., one block from Farragut West metro station on Orange/Blue Line and Farragut North metro station on Red Line)
Time:               3:00pm to 4:00pm
Our demands:
(1)To eliminate and destroy 2008 sham constitution in Burma,
(2)To withdraw Burmese army from ethnic minority territories including Kachin area,  and Karen area,
(3)To stop injustice and coercive behaviors such as the case of Saya Daw U Gambiya, Shwe Nyawar Saya Daw, Saya Daw U Gawthita
(4)To release all political prisoners including U Aye Myint, ethnic minority prisoners, Ko Than Zaw, Ko Aye Aung,
(5)To use to continue smart sanctions(Burmese Freedom and democracy Act) and pressure mechanism to Thein Sein regime and Union Solidarity and Development Association (USDA).
(6)To stop Chinese Government’s exploitation on Myitsone hydropower Plant Project
Our Slogans:
            Call the Elimination of 2008 sham constitution
Declare Nationwide Ceasefire
Stop attacking ethnic people
Stop military actions in ethnic areas
Release all political prisoners
Move out China’s State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation
